Notes

• The following table displays contents of the CDROM. The CDROM is available in various formats including WAV, SoundFont, Audio, AIFF, TTI and AKAI.
• The first column in the table shows instrument category. It corresponds to the highest directory on the CDROM.
• The second column contains instrument graphics. It is also available as full-size .gif file on the CDROM.
• The third column shows instrument name as it appears on the CDROM as sub directory.
• The fourth column shows instrument size (in kiloBytes, kB) including all multisamples in the instrument.
• The fifth column is reserved for short demonstration how the instrument sound in real use. It is compressed for smaller size to .mp3 format. The size of the demo may vary from 20 to 200 kB. Acoustic instruments, pianos and synths are compressed to 128 kbit/s while drums, loops, percussion and sound effects are compressed to 64 kbit/s. Please note that the sound quality of these demo files is thus somehow limited, especially on the higher frequencies. In case of the loops and drums, this quality limitation may render the demo files unusable in musical context. Their purpose is pure 'listen preview', they are included just to show how each particular instrument or loop may sound when used. On the CDROM, this mp3 demo is included with each! instrument. To download the demo to your hard drive, right-click on the 'mp3 demo' link and select 'Save as...'. For auditioning of the mp3 files, you can use the winamp player.
• The last, sixth column contains short text description of the instrument.
